This book in particular has two of the hallmarks of romance novels that I hate: the heroines are almost doggedly ~quirky~, and more often than not have horrendous taste in clothing. Enter Vanessa. Like I said, the characters in Zapata’s books most definitely have a certain level of cringe factor, and Vanessa is no different. ![]()
